Scouting is about fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and the future. Athens County BSA (ACBSA) has a long history of providing life-changing programs to the young men and women of Athens County Ohio.

Simon Kenton Council
Athens County is part of the Simon Kenton Council (SKC) of the Boy Scouts of America. Simon Kenton's main council office is located in Columbus, Ohio, and serves central and southern Ohio, as well as portions of Kentucky and West Virginia. The Council is divided into five districts, with Athens County belonging to the easternmost district of Daybreak.
